You're likely here because your child or student wants to create an account... but they are under 13 years of age.

To comply with COPPA, 4four requires that under 13s use managed accounts.

So If you would like your under 13 to use the site, then please create a child account for them.

What is COPPA?

COPPA is the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. A set of rules in the United States that online services must follow to protect the safety and privacy of children.

What is a Child Account?

A child account is a student account created and managed by a parent or teacher.

Child accounts behave like regular student accounts, but prevent the child from entering personal information. For more details, see the Privacy Overview.

How to Create a Child Account
1 Make sure you have permission to represent the child
You must either be the child's parent or have consent from the parent.
2 Create an account for yourself
You'll need to create either a Parent or a Teacher account.
3 Go to the Children page
4 Click the big plus button

5 Enter the child's details
Click the next buttonNext when you're ready.
6 All done!
The child can now log in with the email you entered.
